Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare born girl. She was born March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian took his life at the age of three. He was an equine veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. The stage name Bea is a tribute to her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey dealing with suicide. Bea was fostered by her younger sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, as well as a former professional racer. The family was obsessed with horses and racing.
